A retaining wall turns a slope that keeps washing out into level, usable space, and a well-built planter or raised bed becomes the centerpiece of a yard. Masonry adds permanence that plants alone cannot.
Walls fail when water builds up behind them. We plan drainage, base and backfill with every wall so it stays straight for years, and we tie the wall into the beds, rock and lawn around it.
Retaining walls
Natural stone and landscape block walls to hold back soil on slopes, terrace a yard or create level areas for beds and patios.
Planters, raised beds and borders
Stone and block planter rings, raised garden beds, brick borders and seat walls, like the stone planter around the fountain shown on this page.
