Featured project · Ozona, TX
At the Ozona Bank Motor Bank in Ozona, we set large boulders, spread decorative rock across the beds and planted drought-tolerant shrubs, yuccas and ornamental grasses. The result is a clean, welcoming frontage built to handle West Texas sun with very little water and no mowing.

Landscape Express is owned and run by Luke Everett, who has been taking care of San Angelo properties through Tree Express since 2007. When you call, you get a straight answer, a fair written quote and a crew that does what it said it would.
We know what kills lawns here: caliche under thin topsoil, water that runs toward the house, sprinklers that miss the corners and watering rules that tighten every drought. We plan around all of it, so the sod you pay for is still green next August.
One honest note: we are not a mowing route. Mowing is a premium add-on ($185/hr) when we are already working at your place.

What customers say
Every Google review for Landscape Express is five stars. Here are a few in their own words.
“This is our 3rd time to use Tree/Landscape Express in 15 years and we have never been disappointed. Our latest need was a large, dying Pecan tree removal precariously close to our house. The tree was removed without incident and the stump was ground afterwards a few days later. Luke communicates clearly and is very easy to work with. He and his crew are professional, efficient and clean up the work site immaculately after the job is completed.”
“Landscape Express came and revamped my back garden bed beautifully. They even delivered a great compost mixture for some of my raised beds. Great experience!”
“All of my flower beds were looking tired, Landscape Express came out and installed new edging and replaced all of the old mulch. They took special care to not disturb the flowers that were in the bed.”
Questions
Straight answers to what homeowners ask us most. Serving San Angelo, Abilene, Brownwood, Wall, Ozona and communities across the Concho Valley.
Sod is usually priced per square foot, and the total depends on the grass variety, the size of the area, how much grading and soil prep it needs, removal of old turf, delivery and whether irrigation needs adjusting. We measure the yard and give you a written estimate at no charge.
It depends on sun and use. Bermuda handles full sun, heat, drought and heavy traffic. St. Augustine is the usual pick for yards with some shade. Zoysia makes a dense, soft lawn with moderate shade tolerance. Buffalograss uses the least water but prefers low traffic and full sun. Our grass types guide compares them side by side.
Xeriscaping is landscaping designed to need little or no supplemental water. It combines drought-tolerant and native plants, decorative rock or mulch, smart grouping of plants by water need and efficient drip irrigation.
Standing water a day after rain, soggy spots that never dry, water against the foundation, eroded beds, mulch or rock washing onto the sidewalk and downspouts that dump water in one spot are all signs that water needs a better path.
Yes. We build sidewalks, walkways, patios, pads and concrete landscape curbing, formed and sloped so water drains away from your home.

Mowing is a premium add-on for us at $185 per hour. We are happy to mow when we are already at your property doing other landscaping work, but if you only need a yard mowed, a dedicated mowing service will almost always be the more economical choice.
